History

In 1963, Verbeek began as a modest family business. With a heart full of dedication and a vision for growth, the company went through a strong development and became part of Cebeco in 2001. In the following years, Verbeek acquired several shareholders: first AgruniekRijnvallei, followed by Group Grimaud, and in 2021 Verbeek became part of the EW group. Since 2024, we have had a close cooperation with Ter Heerdt and all production activities, including hatching eggs, one-day-old chicks and 17-week-old hens, are housed in Ter Heerdt & Verbeek Productie B.V.

Over the years, Verbeek has built a strong name and made a mark in the laying poultry industry. They have done this by offering dedicated people with a deep passion and a large amount of knowledge for the poultry industry. 

The road to success has been shaped by our unique way of working, which focuses on quality, transparency, trust, and close cooperation with our customers and partners. This has brought Verbeek to where it is today: a company that constantly looks at developments in the market and our customers'need with an open mind.
