Production
From 1 January 2024, Verbeek and Ter Heerdt have entered into an intensive collaboration regarding the production of hatching eggs, day-old chicks and 17-week-old hens. This means a strategic collaboration, in which the production activities of both companies will be merged into Ter Heerdt - Verbeek Productie B.V.. By joining forces in this way, we increase the possibilities for more customisation, synergy, and flexibility. This enables Verbeek to operate decisively in the European market. Both companies will retain their own identity in the market, with Verbeek remaining supplier of NOVOgen and Hy-line hens and chicks, and Ter Heerdt of Lohmann hens and chicks. We are convinced that this will prepare us for the future and allows us to continue delivering the quality our customers are accustomed to.
